In Germany, applying for the VAT number without having an explicit reason for registering can make the process a bit more complicated.

Therefore we suggest allowing Amazon to store your goods in German warehouses. You can find this option under the Amazon Seller Central’s Pan-EU settings. In this way you will have the explicit reason for the registration and you will be able to provide a print screen of send/replenish inventory summary.

If you are not planning to enroll for the Pan-EU program, please provide the Amazon Transaction Report to your Registration Manager so we can determine if you’re eligible for the registration.
